Highlighted Jeep Safety Features

There’s a wide array of Jeep safety systems available. We’ve chosen a few here that we feel will be of particular interest to Redbluff area drivers:

  • ParkView® Rear Backup Camera: Whether you’re hitching a trailer or negotiating a tight parking space in Yreka, this backup camera displays a clear image on the Uconnect® touchscreen to make it easy.
  • ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System: Features sensors that alert you to obstacles behind the vehicle when you are backing up.
  • LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist: If your Jeep drifts from out of its lane without the turn signal having been activated, the system instantly sends an alert you so that you can take action to correct the situation.
  • Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking: Warns you if you’re approaching the vehicle in front of you too quickly, and will automatically engage the brakes if needed.
  • Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Path Detection: The BSM system alerts you if a vehicle enters your blind zone. The RCPD system will alert you of vehicles approaching behind you when backing up.
  • SOS Call and Assist Buttons: Press the SOS Call button to request emergency service assistance, or the Assist button to get roadside assistance. Both buttons are located on the rearview mirror.

Sophisticated 4×4 Systems

Jeep 4×4 systems undergo thorough testing to ensure their responsiveness and safety. Trail Rated® models such as the Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Compass, and Renegade deliver superior traction and ground clearance to enhance off-road safety. All Jeep 4×4 systems include the Jeep® Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System which provides driving modes for:

  • Sand/Mud
  • Auto
  • Snow
  • Sport
  • Rock
